LandMark White Research have recently released their 5-year forecast for Industrial property, along the eastern seaboard.

Here are some of the highlights from their forecast.

The Brisbane and Gold Coast markets can expect solid growth in rents and capital values over the next two years before stabilising. Significant supply is expected in both markets with most projects completed within 24 months.

Sydney has potential for 2.10 million sqm of new supply to be developed, with the Western regions to dominate. Solid rental growth is projected, with low yields to push up forecast capital values.

Growth for Melbourne rents and capital to peak over the next 12 months, with yields to stabilise. Melbourne has just over 1.75 million sqm for possible development, with supply concentrated mainly in the West, where land availability is at its greatest.
